Custom Chinese Calligraphy Artworks

Chinese calligraphy is the art of lines.

It carries the energy & emotion of the artist, the flow of brush movements.

An original creation never to be repeated.

Every stroke is unique as the relationship between ink and paper is unpredictable.

I enjoy dancing on paper with brush and ink, up and down,fast and slow, heavy and soft, dry and smooth, these contrasting movements create ying yang, balance, rhythm and flow.

Just like hearing a musician play his prized instrument will always have an emotional quality that a synthesized version of that instrument can never recreate.

This is why I prefer using brush on paper in a quiet space while the world uses their iPads to design.

I need to be able to concentrate and to pour my soul into it, so I can have that special connection and collaboration with my client who trusted me, for the art of tattoo.
